Empowering Recovery Through Education & Support

PAReNT Project Group

M.I.R.A.C.L.E. MAMAS is proud to collaborate with the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR) to bring a recovery-oriented curriculum into a supportive group setting—specifically designed for individuals involved with the Department of Children & Families (DCF) and/or the criminal justice system.

This unique program is tailored to meet the needs of individuals in early recovery, while also providing tools and guidance to help sustain long-term recovery. Our curriculum is rooted in peer support, lived experience, and evidence-based practices, and is delivered in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.

Each session explores critical topics that support personal growth, healing, and empowerment, including:

  • Family, Addiction & Recovery
Understanding how addiction impacts family systems and learning strategies to rebuild trust, strengthen bonds, and support healthy parenting.
  • Values-Based Recovery
Identifying core personal values and using them as a foundation for decision-making, goal-setting, and long-term recovery success.
  • Mental Wellness & Recovery
Addressing the connection between mental health and substance use, and developing tools for emotional regulation, self-care, and resilience.
  • Multiple Pathways to Recovery
Embracing the diversity of recovery experiences—whether through harm reduction, abstinence, medication-assisted treatment, or other approaches—and supporting each individual’s chosen path.
  • Healthy Relationships
Exploring what healthy relationships look like, how to set boundaries, and how to build supportive connections that align with recovery goals.

To recognize and celebrate commitment, participants receive a certificate for every 30 days of consistent weekly attendance. These certificates can be a meaningful part of your recovery journey and may also support progress with DCF or court-related requirements.

This program is more than a group—it’s a community of support, a place to be seen and heard, and a steppingstone toward a brighter, self-directed future.

💜 Join us every Monday from 3:30-4:30PM at Everyday Miracles Peer Recovery Support Center, 25 Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA or on ZOOM SEE FLYER ABOVE FOR ZOOM INFO
